City Tailor Shop established in 1977 by Frankie Chung with more than 40 years experience in tailoring, offering the best quality garments to our clients. City Tailor Shop provides stylish designs and private fittings services to all clients.
City Tailor Shop has been keeping the people of Georgetown stylishly dressed since 1977. It’s important for us to stay up-to-date on the latest trends, while honing our technical skills.

Our founder Frankie Chung and his story with City Tailor Shop.

Frankie started his tailoring in Kuala Lumpur at the age of 16. During those time, he worked for 16 hours a day to learn his tailoring skill and technical knowledge. After years of learning, he finally back to Penang start his journey.
On 1977, Frankie established City Tailor Shop. He start to produce his own brand of custom clothing with much of the work done by hand to give the best comfort, appearance and durability. Today he work closely with his team to ensure the best possible result.
